WELCOME!  The Sierra Hills Branch, Sons In Retirement (SIR), has been providing opportunities for social interaction and fellowship for retired men since 1979.

As our slogan indicates, promoting the independence and dignity of retirement is our only goal.  The organization strictly prohibits the  promotion of any specific political or religious philosophy and requires no dues or assessments of any kind to its members other than nominal voluntary contributions solicited to cover expenses.  The only standing requirement of members is regular attendance at a monthly luncheon from which members are excused when personal obligations require their presence elsewhere.

Membership in SIR Branch 79 is nothing but fun.  You'll likely find other retirees with interests just like yours and a great many just really nice guys.  And if you have an interest field that isn't formally represented in our Branch right now, we'll support your efforts to organize a special interest group of nearly any kind.
